Privacy and cookie policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This policy explains how internetmarketing.coach ("this site", "I", "me") handles personal information. I've tried to keep it plain and to describe only what the site actually does.

Who is responsible for your information

This site is run by Andy Phelps in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller for the personal information described here. You can get in touch about anything in this policy through the contact page.

Reading the site

You can read every page without giving any personal information. The site has no user accounts, no comments, no advertising trackers and no analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare's servers receive technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it against attacks and abuse. Cloudflare acts as my service provider (processor). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The contact form

What's collected: your name, your email address, your message, and confirmation that you ticked the consent box.

Why: only to read and reply to your message. I won't add you to a mailing list or use your details for marketing, and I won't sell or share them with anyone else.

Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by asking me to delete your message.

How it's handled: when you press Send, your message is passed through Cloudflare (which runs the form and sends it on) and delivered to my personal email inbox. It isn't stored in a database on this site and isn't published.

How long it's kept: I keep messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and then delete them, normally within 12 months of our last contact.

Spam protection: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam bots. Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details, only to detect bots. Cloudflare describes these signals as strictly necessary for that purpose. See the Turnstile privacy addendum. Turnstile only loads on the contact page.

Cookies

This site doesn't set any cookies of its own and doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies, so there's no cookie banner. On the contact page, Cloudflare Turnstile may store or read small pieces of information in your browser that are strictly necessary for the spam check. Under the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), strictly necessary storage of this kind doesn't need consent.

Links to other websites, including affiliate links

Many pages link to other websites, such as official guidance and tools. Some links are affiliate links (for example to Systeme.io), as explained in the affiliate disclosure. If you click a link and visit another site, that site may set its own cookies, including affiliate tracking cookies that record that you came from here. Those sites are responsible for their own privacy and cookie practices, so please check their policies. Nothing is tracked on this site when you click a link.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to:

To use any of these rights, get in touch through the contact page. I'll respond within one month. You can read more about your rights on the ICO website.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, please contact me first so I can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts doing anything different with personal information, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
